Design as a catalyst for social impact

Before we started designing for the Kenniscentrum Ongelijkheid (Knowledge Centre Inequality), we developed their proposition and positioning; vision and strategy always form the basis of our design. The visual identity had to communicate urgency as strongly as their message, and at the same time strengthen their knowledge, data and stories.

We translated the visual identity into tools such as stationery, the website and templates, and created their annual magazine, full of interviews and infographics. Our design choices helped the centre not only to become visible but also to actively engage in dialogue with citizens, policymakers and partners. Design became a catalyst for impact.
