The energy market has shifted from top-down to a bottom-up market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By feeding back energy, a customer can now become a producer. In addition, there is an increasing dialogue between consumers and producers. To respond to this, Mattmo renewed the communication strategy. The challenging process of creating an annual report could be streamlined. Mattmo sees an annual report as a strategic communication tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual report won the prestigious Red Dot Award<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The concept that Mattmo devised for Essent’s annual report is based on the theme of dialogue.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

De dialoog heeft de democratisering van energie als gevolg. Alle teksten en financi\u00eble data worden, handmatig of gedigitaliseerd, in ART ingevoerd. Vervolgens komen de gegevens in juiste opmaak op het scherm, zowel voor het drukwerk als voor de digitale-versie. Na een analyse van de energiemarkt, werd er een nieuwe tendens waargenomen. Zonne-energie en windmolens hebben van de klant ook producent gemaakt. Als gevolg is een dialoog ontstaan tussen producent en consument. En dat is het thema dat wij voor het jaarverslag kozen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working with ART has simplified and made the annual report production process for Essent more manageable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mattmo created three books for Essent: annual accounts, an annual report and a CSR report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a spearhead for Essent. Essent pays a lot of attention to making the energy market more sustainable. The strategic importance of the annual report was great, because Essent was for sale at the time and was later purchased by RWE. The design was awarded a Red Dot Design Award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
